Jefferson Einstein Hospital Becomes a National Kidney Registry Member Center

The National Kidney Registry (NKR) announced that Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia has become a NKR Member Center.

The NKR Member Centers are a network of transplant centers that agree to an extensive list of guidelines and commitments to provide the highest level of care, protection, and support to living donors.

Jefferson Einstein Hospital will participate in the NKR’s Voucher Program, Donor Shield, remote donation, and kidney prioritization.

“We’re pleased to welcome Jefferson Einstein Hospital as the newest Member Center in the NKR,” said Eric Walano, Vice President, Relationship Management. “Their addition strengthens our network and expands opportunities for patients to find better matches and longer-lasting transplants.”
